Personal History
I was born and raised in southern California, am married with two adult children and have two amazing grandchildren.
Jesus is my hero. I've been a born again Christian since the age of 16. The road has been fraught with successes and failures but God has been constantly faithful to shepherd me back to Himself as soon as I ask. And sometimes without me even realizing it. He binds up the wounds; restores the loses and fills in the gaps created by my shortcomings or poor choices or stubbornness.
In the 1990's I was struck by 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. It was this verse which really encouraged me to pursue a career in counseling. My hope was that I could help others find that same comfort through their challenges.
Today, I am blessed to be able to provide Bible believing Christians with a full range of Christian mental health services which satisfies the rigorous standards of both the Swiss National Association of Counseling and the National Board for Certified Counselors. I try to insure that my work reflects the highest level of professionalism through maintaining the continuing education and ethical practices required by these two institutions of accreditation.
